What type of music do you play?
We play a strong variety of music such as Ballroom (foxtrot, rumba, cha-cha, waltz, tango, polka, west coast swing, east coast swing, nightclub 2-step, hustle, mambo, samba, swing and lindy-hop), Country, Jazz and Blues.

Burgie’s One O’clock Jazz Big Band specializes in tributes Stan Kenton and other jazz big band greats, including Ellington, Basie, Herman and others.

Choose one or the other, or ask for a combination of both bands.

Are you willing to travel?
Yes.

How do you dress?
Typically we use formal dress.

Are you able to put on a show?
He can arrange everything; hiring musicians, entertainers and negotiating with the managers of the ballroom, halls or auditoriums.

They can put together theme parties from show tunes, Elvis Presley to German polka bands.

I want a theme party. Can you help me?
Yes. Whether you desire a Swing Night, Salsa Night, Hawaiian Luau, a spectacular USO type production or anything in between, their versatility is all encompassing and professional.

What size band can you provide?
They appear as a trio all the way up to a 21-piece band. If requested we can provide additional male and female vocalists and even a string section.
