Jack Havener One O’clock Jazz Big Band

Burgie Crandall's "LET'S DANCE BAND" is everything you have heard about and might remember (if you are old enough) of the legendary BIG BANDS of the 40's, but better.

He takes the big band sound to another level. His band appears as a trio, quartet and any size up to a 21-piece orchestra, all with the same library.

He tributes the popular favorites of the 40’s, such as Glenn Miller, Tommy & Jimmy Dorsey, Harry James, Russ Morgan, Clyde McCoy, Ralph Flanagan and Henry Busse.

He also features extensive selections from Xavier Cougat, Freddie Slack (the king of boogie-) Bert Kaempfert, Louie Prima, Elvis Presley, country artists such as Patsy Cline and George Strait and current top-40 favorites such as Lou Bega.

The young people have rediscovered swing and Lindy. Many fans have never forgotten their favorites from the big band era. There is absolutely nothing that can duplicate dancing to live music where the bandleader is part of the ambiance. However, you don’t have to be a dancer to enjoy Burgie’s Chicago Style Big Band and variety music.
